Cousin Time

Last Friday West and I got to hang out with Mace, Silas, and Atticus while Natalie had an appointment.  It was such a fun morning!  Just wish Titus could have been here too!

Taking turns pushing each other on the tractor.
Action shot of all four.  Pure chaos - and I wouldn't have it any other way!
Hey there happy boy!  (who appears to be hitting his twin bro in the head with a golf club?? haha)
These two are so stinkin' adorable!!
Macer.
Silas.
Atticus.  This was the best I could get from him at this point.  ;)

And here's a pic of all 5 from a couple weeks ago.  Maybe someday we can get one where they all look happy... and one of them doesn't have a truck in his mouth.  Maybe.

Easter Sunday

We had an awesome day celebrating our risen Savior.

When we got up, we read the story of Jesus' resurrection and West opened his Easter "basket."  This year his basket ended up being a backpack - much more practical since he needed something smaller than the diaper bag for the new older class he's in at church.  He also got his first matchbox cars and a new Bible.

Next we ate some cinnamon rolls (picture is courtesy of our tripod - Brad told me other day that it's weird when I put tripod pics on the blog because it looks like somebody else was in our house taking the pics- haha).  I had to rush on out after breakfast to teach the toddler class at church during the first service (I do this every other month), and then Brad and West met me there and we went to church together for the second service.
We took some more pics with the tripod after church.

Then we went inside, ate lunch, and put West down for a nap.  My dad, brother, and sister got here around 3:30 and when West woke up we headed outside to dye Easter eggs.  West wasn't too sure about it at first, but then dove right in and love it!

After the egg-dyeing we grilled out hamburgers and hotdogs and then hid the eggs for West to find on his first official egg hunt.  (Ok, more like we rolled them out into the yard in very conspicuous places.)

He was a little pro.  Next year we'll have to find some better hiding places (which will be tough in our bare yard!!).

We finished up the day with some more family pics.

Great day all around!!

Papa Johnie's Birthday Weekend

We spent last Friday night and Saturday up in Chilli to celebrate Johnie's birthday and do our much belated Christmas with Great Grandma and Grandpa Alden.  It was a wonderful couple of days!
