Happy Hour Love

Ah, one thing that I look forward to each week is a run to Sonic for happy hour.  This week I made it until Thursday for that special trip:

Large Dr. Pepper.  Easy ice (less ice = more pop).  Sweet delight.

It comes out to $.97, which means I can get one a week for ten weeks courtesy of a $10 Sonic gift card I got for Christmas (thanks Johnie and Dee!!).

Do you have a special treat you look forward to?  Anyone else regularly take advantage of Sonic Happy Hour?

Love sunshine-y days

Yesterday was the first sunny day I feel like we've had in awhile so we took full advantage of the warm morning sun pouring into his room and took some pics.

I got out my camera this morning for a fun little photo shoot with West and he happily obliged with his amusing facial expressions:

After awhile, though, he got a bit distracted and went back to doing what he does best:  chew on things.  In a matter of minutes I was able to capture him zeroing in on his prey(s):

"Hmm, this finger tastes good."

"Yum, the Bumbo seat is even better!"

"Oooh, what about my foot?  Looks enticing."

"Should I go with my right foot?"

"Or my left foot?"

"Decisions, decisions."

"Left foot it is!"

"Mmm, back to my hand again."

"Oh, hi Mom!  Forgot you were there!"

Laughing with Dad

One of the coolest milestones West has reached is laughing.  Is there anything more fun than making your child laugh??  Making him smile used to be our favorite thing to do, but now it's making him laugh because, come on, how adorable is it?!
