Splish Splash!

West LOVES baths!  About a month ago we started bathing him in the actual tub instead of his baby bath tub and he loves it.  Brad is almost always the bath-giver... it's fun time for them and gives mommy a little time to clean the kitchen after dinner without West crawling around my feet.  :)  As soon as he hears Brad turn the water on he speed crawls to the tub and tries to climb in!

Here are a few pics from a bath last week:

Loves chewing on his washcloths and bath toys.

Looking up at Dad.

For now at least he doesn't mind the water in his face.  In fact, he actually puts his face down in the water all the time!

 Silly hair and silly faces.

He also loves trying to grab as many toys as he can and chewing on them at the same time.

One of Brad's biggest challenges is keeping him from standing up.

Heartbreaking cries when bath time is over!

Our big guy

He loves standing in his crib like a big boy.  Several times now I've peeked in during his "nap" and he's just standing there looking out the window.  It cracks me up because I typically have his monitor on and by me and may never hear him - he just wakes up happy and quietly plays or stands there.  Sometimes he'll give himself away when he starts banging on the top of the crib with his hand - he loves hitting it for some reason.  It's so funny to just start hearing a thumping sound when I thought he was sleeping.

Here I am peeking in on him when he's supposed to be falling asleep for a nap...

He's been sleeping with his cute little bottom up in the air lately.  So adorable!

His two bottom teeth came in over the last week and a half!  So maybe that's why he was under the weather (as mentioned in this post here) but we're sure hoping he doesn't run a 102.5 degree temp every time he has teeth coming in!  This pic was taken last Wed so his teeth are even more visible now - I'll have snap another pic soon.

Big 'ol brown eyes like his daddy.

New Steps on the Back Deck!

The weekend before last Papa Johnie and Grandma Dee came down and helped us add steps to our deck.  We have been wanting to do this since we moved in and absolutely LOVE them!!  Thanks so much Grandma Dee and Papa Johnie!!

And thanks Grandma Dee for snapping a few pics of the three of us!
