the first supper...

Well, we finally made it to Columbia, and with much appreciated help, all of our things made it into our new apartment! We really love our new place- everything about it- and feel so incredibly blessed to be able to live here!

After an afternoon and evening of unpacking and settling in, I think you can start to see a bit of progress. Thankfully we have a few days to work on it before Brad starts orientation.

I'm still searching for a job, so if you would remember that in your prayers I would be very very thankful. Hopefully I'll have some good news to post about it here soon! It will be such a relief when I get one, and I know that I'll handle the move so much better once I have a set routine in place... right now I don't know when my classes are or when/if I work so then it's hard to plan when I'm going to work out and spend my time with God and with Brad... and that kinda stresses me out! But I know that I just have to trust in the Lord and let Him grow me and teach me during all this.

Here is a pic of us eating our first meal at our new place (while surrounded by boxes, of course!): leftover BWW boneless wings and leftover chili! Thanks Johnie and Dee!! We still haven't made a big grocery run yet so it was so nice to not have to worry about dinner!!
